Cavtat

Cavtat

Cavtat is a pretty town on the southernmost tip of the Dubrovnik Riviera. It’s on a small peninsula with a Renaissance old town on one side, beaches on the other – and a fragrant cypress forest in between. The old town harbour has a wide tree-lined promenade where cheery bars neighbour refined restaurants. Beyond the forest, small pebbly beaches and rocky coves edge the turquoise waters of the Adriatic.

Sports & nature

Sports & natureThere are many water sports and other activities available on beaches or at diving centers, such as banana tubs, jet-ski, parasailing or water-skiing.

Nightlife info

Nightlife infoDespite of the fact that the number of night clubs and discos in the tiny town is small, fans of night entertainment also won’t be bored. Nightclubs and bars are on the territory of all major hotel complexes.

The whole mausoleum is full of symbolic representing three basic stages of human fate: birth, life and death.   Baltazar Bogisic Collection was founded in 1909 - 1912, and from 1955 is a part of Croatian Academy of Science and Art.    Baltazar Bogisic (Cavtat 1834 - Rijeka 1908) was a jurist and a scientist of a European fame.
